Rust cheats are the most common request among anti-cheat-protected games, and there are usually three reasons behind it: you finally want to win fights on official servers, you need software for a pirate build or an old version, or the hardware ban has already landed and every new account follows the old one. Here is what to look for in a Rust cheat in 2026 and what we have right now.
What a private Rust cheat should do
- Player ESP: distance, weapon, health, view direction, sleepers shown separately.
- Loot and base ESP: crates, tool cupboards, turrets, cargo ship and patrol helicopter on the map.
- A smooth aimbot with adjustable FOV and per-weapon recoil control.
- Radar and a stream-proof mode, so recordings and OBS stay clean.
- Patch-day updates: Rust updates on the first Thursday of every month, and a cheat that is not updated that day is not a cheat any more.
The anti-cheat and HWID bans in Rust
Rust runs the anti-cheat, and the ban is double: the account and the computer. A new account on the same PC gets banned within hours. Reinstalling Windows does not fix it; an anti-cheat spoofer does:

Official servers, old Rust and pirate builds
A cheat for old Rust, RustMe and other pirate builds is separate software: there is no anti-cheat there, but the servers run their own anti-cheats, and builds for the official client do not work. We select cheats for the current Steam client; pirate builds will get their own product cards if we find a stable developer.
